Natura Class offers diploma courses for massage, beauty and natural therapy credited by ITEC (international qualifications recognized in over 38 countries) and FENACO. The academy is also an approved college of the Junta de Andalucia (College number: 85559).

The academy also manages the wellbeing, spa and massage centres for hotels from Nerja to Estepona, as well as collaborating with the cruise company Steiner.

If you are looking for recognised international qualifications in a friendly environment with an option for immediate work and an opportunity to gain experience and confidence then 'Natura Class' is your academy. All Natura Class students are given priority in jobs upon completion of a foundation course.

The academy is well situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol, in the centre of Fuengirola, next to the train and bus stations, with wonderful views of the sea and the Mijas Mountains. Reiki Course Beauty School

Working with Reiki is working with energy. What ever a person does in life, it consumes energy, in first instance, their own energy. Reiki allows the use of the universal energy and by working with it, you as a 'giver' get charged as well. Reiki is practiced all over the world as a treatment on its own, but Reiki can be very beneficial for any practicing therapist. Therapists discover already in training that doing a treatment consumes lots of their own energy. Combining Reiki in any treatment prevents them from being drained. In this way they can become better therapists. Reiki is taught as three different levels, or degrees, and for each level there are different attunements or initiations.

Diploma in Holistic Massage

The Holistic Massage (level 3) course consists of 3 modules:

Anatomy and Physiology (ITEC unit 1): profound class on every body system, with more time on muscles and skeleton.

Holistic Massage (ITEC unit 2): Theoretical and practical class to be able to perform full body holistic massage adjustable to the clients needs.

Business Awareness and professional conduct (ITEC unit 22): preparation of yourself into the professional world, legislation and professional conduct.

All modules are necessary to receive a Diploma in Holistic Massage (level 3). All modules can be taken separately, and will result in a certification of each module', and can be accumulated for the diploma.

Diploma in Sport Massage

ITEC Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy - 130 hours

This course is designed to enable sports therapists to work effectively in sporting environments expanding your client list to include actively engaged people, ranging from team club players to individual athletes. You will be qualified for employment in health clubs and remedial clinics.

Content and Assessment. This is a fully comprehensive, professional course.

Components include:

• Advanced massage techniques.


• Anatomy and physiology.


• Contra-indications and indications.


• Pre- and post-event treatment.


• Management of injuries.


• Setting up and management of a practice.


• Working alongside physiotherapists.

• Log Book 100 hours made up of 50 hours event work and 50 hours of massage treatments.

You will also accumulate a portfolio of evidence of learning, a useful tool for later reference.

Requirements:

Candidates must have an Anatomy and Physiology qualification and a recognised level 3 massage qualification (to include Business, Health, Safety and Hygiene modules). Photocopied evidence of this accreditation must accompany your application. Candidates must also have good health, since the course involves a practical component. A sporting background is advantageous as well.

Due to the amount of information covered in the course home studies of approximately 5 hours per week will be required.

Award:

On successful completion of this module, you will be awarded 30 Higher Education credits and Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy.
